“I am a Las Vegas resident for almost twenty-eight years. I graduated from Valley High School and UNLV. I received my law degree from California Western School of Law. Prior to law school, I was a paralegal for a civil firm. I have been an attorney at the Clark County Public Defender’s Office for the past ten years. I have handled thousands of cases ranging from misdemeanors to felonies and represented thousands of individuals in Las Vegas Justice Court. In addition to my case load, I have been an assistant team chief supervising and mentoring attorneys. In 2019, I launched the Initial Appearance Court with Las Vegas Justice Court, a specialty court that changed the pretrial release procedure for Clark County in 2019.
