About the candidate: Stacy Rocheleau was raised in Henderson, where she graduated from Basic High School in 1987. She studied business administration at Whittier College, in Whittier, California, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1991. She earned her Juris Doctorate at the University of San Diego School of Law in 1996.

After passing the Nevada Bar in 2001, Stacy worked for a local law firm handling civil litigation, and family law cases. She started her own firm in 2004. Over the last 16 years, she has built a successful law practice where she focuses exclusively on family law cases.

Stacy is rated 10.00/Superb Top Family Law Attorney by AVVO, and for the past three years she was voted the Best Family Law Attorney by the Las Vegas Review Journal readers’ poll. She is a member of the State Bar of Nevada and the Family Law Section of the State Bar. She served as the President of the Southern Nevada Association of Women Attorneys from 2018 – 2020. Stacy has sat as a judge in the Truancy Diversion Program for three years, and she was appointed as a Discovery Commissioner Pro Tem for the Eighth Judicial District Court in 2017. Stacy has also been invited to speak on various family law topics at continuing legal seminars, and on television and radio programs.

Stacy is active in her community, frequently donating her time and efforts to pro bono work and to causes such as Spread the Word Nevada, Project Food Bank, and Operation Care Package. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with Rock, her husband of 26 years, and their three teenage children, Jenna, Jordan and Jessica.
