The CCBA’s Community Service Committee invites support for our annual community outreach activity, Mark’s Blanket the Homeless program started by late CCBA member Mark S. Blackman. The CCBA will use the monies towards the purchase and distribution of blankets by the CCBA to local organizations that serve homeless people here in southern Nevada. A case of 30 blankets costs about $200, so your donation could make a big difference. The more blankets we can purchase, the bigger the difference we can make for those in need.
Please make a donation today. Thank you!
As an annual effort, we plan to purchase blankets in early November, with distribution to local agencies planned for early December. Donations made through October 31, will be used towards our efforts during the following year. We hope you will help support our efforts.
*Note: Mark’s Blanket the Homeless Program is a community service project of the Clark County Bar Association (CCBA), a 501(c)(6) non-profit member organization. Contributions to the CCBA are not deductible for federal income tax purposes as charitable contributions.
