Networking Opportunities

CCBA members are invited to attend committee meetings, bar luncheons, mixers, and special events held throughout the year.

Bar Luncheons

• July 26, 2023 – Bar Luncheon

The Clark County Bar Luncheons are held every other month, on the third or fourth Thursday of the month, typically. Bar luncheons offer members of the legal community the opportunity to learn from the planned presentation and network in a social setting while in-person at a local restaurant or venue. The number of people in attendance may vary (approximately 80 to 120).

The CCBA offers FREE lunchtime learning events (via Zoom) designed to offer 1.0 hours of CLE credit for Nevada lawyers. The Lunchtime Learning CLE programs are for CCBA members only.

Meet Your Judges Mixer

Sep. 7, 2023 – 32nd Annual Meet Your Judges Mixer

The Meet Your Judges Mixer is one of the most popular networking events for the southern Nevada legal community and is hosted by the Clark County Bar Association annually. This special event provides an opportunity for members of the legal community to meet members of the local, state, and federal judiciary in a casual, social setting. Business casual attire acceptable. This is a cocktail reception; no minors allowed. This is a private, ticketed event for judges, attorneys, legal assistants, legal secretaries, law students, merchants, and candidates with tickets to be made available to order from the Clark County Bar Association.

After Bar Exam Chill

Fall 2023 – After Bar Exam Chill – Date TBA

The After Bar Exam Chill is a special event to be held in August. This in-person event is for people who sat for the Nevada Bar Exam in February and July of the same year as the event. This is an opportunity for CCBA members to network and meet the NV Bar Exam takers.

Holiday Mixer

Nov. 30, 2023 – Holiday Mixer

The CCBA Holiday Mixer is a festive event to be held annually. This professional mixer is an in-person event for CCBA members to network with other professionals, catch up with colleagues, and meet new people. Participation is open to members of the CCBA and the State Bar of Nevada. The event features complimentary drink tickets and light refreshments (while supplies last) for CCBA members.

40-Year Club Induction Ceremony & Luncheon

• May 18, 2023 – 40 Year Club Luncheon

The 40 Year Club Induction Ceremony & Luncheon provides an opportunity for members of the Clark County Bar Association to celebrate their colleagues who have practiced law for 40 years and to honor their colleagues who are celebrating their 5th, 10th, and 15th anniversary of practice in Nevada. The inductees are honored by their colleagues while the others celebrating their anniversary enjoy a lunch filled with good food, presentations, and reminiscing with a bit of humor thrown in on the side.

The Meet your Law Student Mixer is a private event featuring complimentary food and drink tickets while supplies last for UNLV Boyd Law Students and managing/hiring partners from law firms in southern Nevada.

The CCBA’s Continuing Legal Education Programming is an ongoing series of events designed to educate our members. CCBA produces approximately 15-20 programs per year, including the lunchtime learning programs hosted virtually each month. Attendance of 20 to 100 members of the legal community is expected for each program depending upon the content of each CLE.
