Boyd Law Seeking Associate Director of Career Development

Associate Director of Career Development, William S. Boyd School of Law [R0142443]:  UNLV seeks qualified applicants for the position of Associate Director of Career Development. The Associate Director of Career Development will assist the Assistant Dean of Career Development in providing career planning services to students and alumni of the Boyd School of Law. The Associate Director will focus on providing specialized services to those students and graduates who begin their careers in judicial clerkships. Responsibilities include advising and disseminating information to students seeking judicial clerkship positions, creating and executing programming to educate students about these areas, building and maintaining relationships with judges, creating opportunities for students to network with employers, and counseling students generally but with a particular focus on judicial clerkships. The Associate Director will assist the Assistant Dean of Career Development with planning and coordinating on-campus interviews, overseeing fellowship and internship programs, planning and executing networking receptions and mock interview programs. The Associate Director will also assist with maintaining the Career Development Office internal and external websites and online job database, as well as collecting and reporting graduate employment information. The Associate Director will provide alumni programming and employer outreach & events.
