Jessica Green is a Pro Tem Judge and attorney with more than 15 years of legal experience, including over seven years serving on the Las Vegas Municipal Court bench. Since 2019, she has presided over proceedings ranging from arraignments and motions to trials and sentencings, and has been trusted by every elected Municipal Court judge to oversee their courtrooms in their absence.
In 2022, Jessica was appointed Interim Hearing Master for Department 20, where she managed high-volume calendars and presided over specialty court programs, including Fresh Start and Mental Health Video Court. Her experience gives her a practical understanding of courtroom management, judicial temperament, and the importance of applying the law fairly, consistently, and efficiently.
Jessica’s legal background includes employment law, professional liability, and complex litigation matters. In addition to her courtroom experience, she has served in executive leadership roles requiring careful analysis, sound judgment, and difficult decision-making under pressure.
A longtime Las Vegas resident and mother of two daughters in public school, Jessica is deeply invested in the community she serves. She volunteers with local nonprofit and civic organizations, including Pick It Up Las Vegas, Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada, and the LVMPD Foundation.
Jessica is running for Las Vegas Municipal Court Department 2 because she believes experience matters. She is committed to maintaining a courtroom that is fair, prepared, respectful, and focused on both accountability and equal access to justice.
