CCBA Members are needed to volunteer for a group activity at the Las Vegas Rescue Mission this Saturday, May 14, 2022. See below for details and sign up today. Thank you! ❤️

  • Where: Las Vegas Rescue Mission, 480 W. Bonanza Rd.
  • When: Saturday, May 14, 2022
  • Arrival time: 4:15pm
  • Departure time: 6:15pm
  • What: Up to 10 volunteers will serve and clean up for the community dinner. Arrive at inside Building 11 (Dining Hall) promptly at 4:15 p.m. and no later than 4:30 p.m. Once you enter the dining hall, there is an area for volunteers to sign in, get an apron, hairnet and gloves. Around 4:40 the kitchen manager will assign everyone to a position. As the meal is wrapping up around 5:50, volunteers will be asked to wipe down tables, chairs, and sweep. Volunteers should be done about 6:15 p.m.
  • Mandatory Dress Code: Long pants (no leggings); Shirt with sleeves (no tank tops); Must have closed toe shoes (no sandals).
  • Register to volunteer (REQUIRED): Each volunteer will need to create their own User Account on the Las Vegas Rescue Mission’s volunteer hub prior to the event. Please sign up now. See the CCBA’s Community Service volunteer page here: http://ccbarcs.lvrescuemission.volunteerhub.com/From there, follow these steps:
    • Click the “Create Account” link in the top-right corner to create your personal volunteer account
    • Enter a username and password (make a note of these somewhere)
    • Skip the Join Code question by clicking next
    • Skip the Affiliations question by clicking next
    • Complete the profile page and click next and it will confirm the account creation
    • Click next
    • Find the shifts you want to sign up for on the calendar (The Community Advocate 415-615pm shift on May 14 is the only shift available on the group’s calendar at this time)
    • Click on the shift by its name
    • Click on the “sign up” button
    • Read the waiver and click the checkbox to say you understand and agree
    • Click next
  • Registration Complete? Check your inbox for a confirmation from b02@b.volunteerhub.com. If you didn’t receive it, then your registration may not be complete. Go back and finish your registration.
