On April 26, 2024, the Supreme Court of Nevada filed an order in the matter of the proposed amendments to the rules of practice for the Eighth Judicial District Court. See ADKT 0612.
The Order Amending the Rules of Practice for the Eighth Judicial District Court cites the petition with the proposed amendments submitted by Chief Judge Jerry Wiese and Judge Jacqueline Bluth of the Eighth Judicial District Court originally filed on October 23, 2023. The proposed amendments are extensive and included as Exhibit A in ADKT 0612.
The Supreme Court of Nevada, via ADKT 0612, orders that “…the amendments to the Rules of Practice for the Eighth Judicial District Court shall be effective 60 days from the date of this order.”
All counsel who practice before the Eighth Judicial District Court need to review the 93-page PDF file.
