The CCBA’s Community Service Committee is seeking support for the “Blanket the Homeless” a community service project of the Clark County Bar Association and the Clark County Law Foundation. This annual activity helps to provide rescue blankets to local homeless people. Members can support our efforts by donating monies and/or volunteering their time and energies.
CCBA members are invited to:
- Donate monies at https://clarkcountybar.org/community-service-activities/blanket-the-homeless/. Monies raised will be used to purchase new individually wrapped rescue blankets. Blankets will be distributed to people served by the Las Vegas Rescue Mission at the following event.
- Volunteer for the Community Dinner Service at Las Vegas Rescue Mission on Saturday, November 13, 2021. Learn more about the group activity and RSVP at https://clarkcountybar.org/community-service-activities/community-dinner-service-at-las-vegas-rescue-mission/.
Monies donated through October 6, 2021, will be used to order blankets for distribution at the event on November 13, 2021. Monies donated after October 6, 2021, will be used toward the purchase of blankets for the community service program next year.
