Las Vegas Justice Court Administrative Order 22-10

On November 18, 2022, the Las Vegas Justice Court Chief Justice of the Peace Melissa Saragosa filed an order in the administrative matter regarding interim traffic rules for the Las Vegas Township Justice Court. See Administrative Order #22-10.

On November 18, 2022, the Las Vegas Justice Court Chief Justice of the Peace Melissa Saragosa filed an order in the administrative matter regarding interim traffic rules for the Las Vegas Township Justice Court. Administrative Order #22-10 cites an order in the matter of the enactment of local rules for the Las Vegas Justice Court Relating to Traffic Citations filed by the Supreme Court of Nevada, in response to a petition from LVJC Chief Judge Melissa Saragosa. See ADKT 0604.

Also, Administrative Order #22-10 cites the need for the proposed rules to be in place for the coming effective date of Assembly Bill 116 (2021) which is January 1, 2023.

Also, per Administrative Order #22-10:

… the proposed rules attached as an exhibit hereto will become effective on an interim bases only on January 1, 2023; and it is further ordered that this Administrative Order shall expire on the date that the Las Vegas Justice Court’s proposed traffic rules become effective in Part 7 of the Las Vegas Justice Court Rules of Practice (LVJCLRP) by order of the Supreme Court of Nevada.”
