Judge Gregory Gordon was born and raised in Las Vegas. Proudly educated in the Clark County School District, Judge Gordon graduated from Valley High School. He attended Occidental College in Los Angeles, California, graduating with a degree in economics in 1991. After college, Judge Gordon attended Pepperdine University School of Law in Malibu, California. While in law school, Judge Gordon was a member of the Dean’s Honor Roll and served on the editorial board of the Pepperdine Law Review. He graduated magna cum laude in 1994 and gained admission to the Nevada State Bar that same year.

Before his appointment to the bench, Judge Gordon practiced in the area of family law in Clark County, Nevada for 29 years.

Judge Gordon has given seminars to judges and attorneys and written numerous articles on issues related to family court. Judge Gordon is an advocate for innovation in family court including use of informal family law trials.

Judge Gordon is active in the Las Vegas community and serves on the Board of Directors of Spread the Word Nevada, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting childhood literacy. A devoted husband and father of 3 children. He is a member of the Nevada State Bar, Clark County Bar Association, National Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges, and the American Bar Association.
